What’s better than fresh produce for dinner? The Pacific Northwest is home to an abundance of farmer’s markets and farm stands. Some of our surrounding cities have farmer’s markets that are open on the weekends. Grab some lunch items and head to a local park to enjoy a nice picnic in this great weather!  Here are a few local options:

Street Fairs & Festivals
If you’ve never been, don’t miss out on Sumner’s Rhubarb Days this year August 4th & 5th. We are the “Rhubarb Pie Capital of the World” after all! If you are great baker, be sure to enter the rhubarb bake off competition. Or if eating is more your style, sign up for the pie eating contest! They will also have music, food and shopping vendors and of course kids activities! We hope to see you there. We’d also like to highlight AuburnFest as another local option. The options abound at AuburnFest, food, music and free activities. For even more fun, purchase a wristband for access to inflatables, rides, a rock wall and more! Hurry and purchase your wristband before August 10th for 50% off! To learn more about the fun local festivals click on the images below!

We hope to see you out about enjoying all our community has to offer this summer! Let us know if you check out or participate in any of these great events! Happy summer!
